I was just wondering. The "Trout" part reminded me of the trout in "Fruity's Random Sprite Comic".

Maybe I shouldn't be accusing people of being joke account. They've done that to Fragmentor enough (saying that I was him is where I fit there).

Okay, I got really bored and have been reading old threads, including this one and Tommy's. I noticed that Shadow Blade provided a backstory as to how he found FCMidi, so I'm going to provide one as well:

A ridiculously long time ago, I was playing a video game, and I thought to myself, "Hey, this tune is kinda catchy," so I decided to look up video game music on the internet. I did, and found VGM. I was browsing through it, and I noticed that one of the composers was named "Dr. Fruitcake." "What a quirky character he must be!" I thought to myself (although not as eloquently as that). "I believe I shall Google him!" I did so, and found this site. I listened to some of the songs, then forgot about it for a ridiculously long time. Only a few months ago did I remember about this site. I tried going to it, but this just happened to be at the same time as the asplosion, so I wasn't getting anything. I got depressed, but tried again like a month or two later, and it worked! I also noticed y'all had some forums, so I decided to join.

Same thing happened to me, similarly. Except I kept trying to come back between the .com and .net switch, and since I was unaware of the switch it took me a looong time to realize that we were, in fact, located at fcmidi.net. A nice, hearty Google search a few months later was what told me that.

I found this place through the Doc's signature whilst browsing VGMusic's boards through a proxy about 3-4 years ago (because I was banned at the time) and I had liked his work alot. When I used to listen to MIDIs, I considered the Doc to be pretty damn good at remixing and sequencing music.

I dont remember all the good MIDI sequencers/composers/remixers I liked the most, but the Doc was one of them. Hell.. I dont even remember the artist's names anymore :-/
