Yeah. Ditto.
And he has yet to clarify.
What'chu talkin' 'bout, Communist? |

A different icon appears on the left of thread titles in the forum (instead of a page, a little animated page gif) indicating a 'popular' thread which is labeled such after X number of posts. He's asking that you change it.
I really don't know why. _________________ when the world is sick, can't no one be well? but i dreamt we was all beautiful and strong

Ohh, that's what he's referring to. See, under normal circumstances I could probably have figured that out, but my brain saw "popular" being used as a noun and promptly divided by zero.
At any rate, yeah, that threshold can be tweaked. But... I'm not entirely sure I get the point. More than anything else, I find it surprising that someone actually pays attention to that icon in the first place. _________________ "" |

My point exactly, yeah. I remember observing it during my first little while of foruming and finding out what it was, but I haven't paid attention to it in forever. It's kind of pointless in a community like this, and only slightly less pointless in big ones. _________________ when the world is sick, can't no one be well? but i dreamt we was all beautiful and strong

Heh heh... I don't really care... I just noticed it on that "3 word phrase story" thread thing, and whoever made it said that the topic got "shaky paper" treatment... I just wanted to step in his ointment. _________________ _________________

It's okay, I bump threads for reasons like that all the time. _________________ when the world is sick, can't no one be well? but i dreamt we was all beautiful and strong

Yeah, the three word story thread would probably retain that 'popular thread' icon unless we made it something ludicrous, like 100 pages... so you'll have to step elsewhere, sailor.
Although I guess it would be kinda cool if we had an icon for "legendary threads" or something... like if a thread got over 9...2 pages? (I just chose that number so the smash bros thread could join in the fun).
But it's not really necessary/important/anything. IT IS NOTHING TO ME. _________________ [quote="Someone's sig on the AoC forums"]THis game really is more geared towards the adult then, teenbeat wow.
