I'm sure a few of you saw the "download forum" thing the evening of August 2nd. I immediately contacted HostDime's help desk and they were quick to fix it.

At the end of the correspondence, I asked them about what happened. Thought I'd share it with you guys since it affects you too.

I couldn't get on for a while cause of that. It didn't hit me until just now that it was cached. Hopefully nobody else is having that problem...

Oh. Well, for the past couple of days, I've been getting the "do you want to save index.php" but as soon as I tried to access the forum through the site then it worked. I've updated my bookmark, and now it doesn't contain the index.php part and it works fine.

Edit: Except if I try to click on Fruitcake MIDI Forums Forum Index or the logo at the top, in which case it asks me if I want to save index.php. Guh.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache since the incident?

Huh, it's a cache issue? I just accessed the forums via Opera on my laptop, but FF on my main comp still tries to download it. Razz
