Greetings, faithful viewers. Unfortunately for the both of us, there's not much here at the moment. Don't worry, all of the MIDIs and MP3s are still intact. Here's what happened, though. FCMidi runs (well, used to run) on three databases: one for the forum, one for the wiki, and one for all the music info. But, just the other day, all three simultaneously went up in flames. The Dragon and I have been busily trying to recover as much of the lost data as possible, but to compound the problem, HostDime has informed us that their backups are somehow all corrupted (see DAGRON's thread for more detailed info).

What this means for us is that we have to rebuild the databases from scratch. What this means for you is that the music pages will be gradually reappearing as I gather up the info once again, and that the ever-popular Forums will be starting over on a blank slate. So, with that said... stay tuned for the launch of Fruitcake MIDI Forums v3.0!

Meanwhile, the FCMidi Secret Police are currently working on tracking down the culprit responsible for the exploding databases. They have several leads, and Dread Fibnah and marty the GOVERNATOR are both prime suspects. More information will follow as this story develops! In other news, it's a shame that it was all lost, but hey, it's a clean slate, right? Although, to let you know, the "[Comments]" link on the main site itself isn't leading here; it leads to a "This topic does not exist" page.

I see you like the way we do textual confirmation questions, Chz. I don't remember whether someone added that exact question before the board asploded, but there was definitely something similar.

It's amazing how effective a stupid question can be, though.

I got "What is the name of this website?" which was more difficult because I wasn't sure whether the answer was Fruitcake Midi or FCMidi or Fruitcake Midi Forums, etc.

I wanted the firetruck question. Sad

All the questions can have multiple answers, and the way the mod is written, case isn't important.

The questions currently in the system are:

What color is a red firetruck?
How big is a big truck?
What is the name of this website?

For the last question, there are four possible answers. If you want to know what the Q&As are, I can PM you the entire thing. There is no way we'll be posting the answers publicly, though. Also, if you are interested in submitting more questions, feel free to send them to me.

I don't think it actually bans anyone if they fail the question.

I can add an answer like that too, in a slightly simpler form of course.
