Welcome, folks, to this year's -- the fifth, might I add -- annual I.A.W. celebrations! Mr Green

It's the one week of the year when we get the privilege of honoring all the inanimate objects around us that serve us thanklessly, day in and day out! For those of you who haven't yet had the deep pleasure of participating in a Bucket/Inanimacy Appreciation Week, you're in for a real treat. Here's how it goes:
  1. Think of an idea for an inanimate object-related topic.
  2. Post said topic.
  3. Post on other people's inanimate object-related topics.
  4. ??
  5. PROFIT!
It's really that simple! Wink Creative works of all types, games, roleplaying threads, heated debates, faux political campaigns, and anything else your imagination can come up with -- so what are you waiting for? Cool Get to postin'! And have fun!

EDIT: Also, don't forget to give a hearty thank-you to Wormy for the festive emoticons. Nice Work

Usually all but the best IOAW threads are deleted. We did have the best ones, such as the first appearance of the dread Quentin Arsebucket, but they went with the server crash.

So, no. Sad

I HAVE RETURNED, to usher in an age of... bucket-related... suffering and... stuff.

Oh, I don't even feel like saying it this year. BUCKET ARMY, ATTACK. (If you feel like it)

Didn't we have a whole roster of inanimacons last year (courtesy of Wormy, I believe)? I'd like to see them return, rather than just a couple of buckets and a hat.

Admittedly, the hat is splendid. Very Happy

EDIT: Nice work on the IAW logos, too. All your work, Fruity?

Awesome. Truly awesome.

The old IAW threads are unviewable because of the forum crash a while back. Sad

"Breaker".

I don't know what it is either - it's not on Encyclopedia Dramatica, so it must be crazy obscure.

Upon Googling "Giga Drill Breaker", this was the first result, and should answer your question. Very Happy

There is a whole set; refresh if they're not showing up. Surprised

Quite. Razz A few are recycled from last year but there's a bunch of new 'uns as well.

Well then, may I ask who, exactly, Quentin Arsebucket is?

Is he/she evil? I noticed you used the word "dread" to describe him/her.

Yeah, I forget we have stuff that goes on every year, but I'm lost as to how this is #5. You can thank Facebook for alerting me to IAW #5! Herr Fruitcakers, you should make a Facebook event and invite everyone. That would amuse me, it would.

If Anonymous Haiku Man shows up to a party, you know it's got to be one of the TOP THREE PARTIES OF ALL TIME. Don't ask what happens when he shows up to more than three parties, because I haven't really worked that bit out yet.

It would be neat if someone wrote a script for IAW that replaced every noun with a picture from Google Images.
