Is it just that Mario's following the generic hero code, or does it say an actual reason somewhere?

It pretty glaringly obvious that he's in love with her. Just look at Super Mario Sunshine and Paper Mario. Now the real question is who Baby Mario's biological mother is... *shudder*

By the way, I think this thread should be in the Video Gaming Grotto - not the Misc Forum.

Hmm... that relationship must be really shaky, seeing how Mario's constantly trying to cheat on Izzhov by saving Peach...

Because Nintendo, when it comes to games that involve Mario, can't write storylines to save their lives.

Take the FCMidi Sensible Posting games for instance.

Maybe they don't think the stories matter so much for FCMidi Sensible Posting games, because they don't seem to have any problems posting a hundred fucking times a day.

What are you talking about? Everyone was having a dispute about who was bothering to post anything that didn't piss everyone else off so they followed Toad down a pipe where there was a parody topic and after each post all the members involved would repeat the topic it was based on but changing the words to be even less sensible than they were the first time.

Actually, the posts only change slightly in different threads. For example, in "Why is Bowser always trying to kidnap Princess Peach anyway?", they're just talking to each other pointlessly. They aren't really thinking about it.

No you Mr Green - Bugger Orf. Wasn't one of the founding ideals of this country that it would be a land where a man can post whatever pointless and annoying shit he wants and not be hassled or persecuted?

Well, getting back on topic, I think Mario is an honourably heroic man and Peach should give him the cake she promised.

I wouldn't call Mario "honourably heroic" by any stretch of the imagination.

So, Damian, on a totally unrelated note, would you say that a stupid parody of what was a fairly stupid thread to begin with is a way of drawing attention to your grievances?

Yeah... it'd... it'd help if you noticed the nice "moved" marker next to the Bowser/Peach thread. Roll Eyes Lune

I don't know, TMT, what would you say? Our sarcasm might elude the Chuckle Brothers, as many things do.

I'm pretty sure not even they could miss this. On the other hand, they're notorious for not reading a damn thing anyone posts, so they might skim through it and think we want to be just like them.

But... but who wouldn't want to be just like Izzhov and Trout? Let's be real here!

Well, they're clearly witty, charming and erudite young men, but I just get this feeling that they [s:3c44f3ce17]sometimes[/s:3c44f3ce17] post for the sake of posting rather than to contribute, you know?

You think so? Why, I can't imagine where you'd get that idea. Clearly they are constructive members of the forum; every post must be answered, no matter how minuscule or even if you know nothing about it. Seriously, man. That's absurd!

Ah, of course! How could I have been so dense? The true joy of being part of a cohesive community is having every other post in every new thread be one of your own! I see it now!

I think I'll try this "responding to everything I see" out!
