Other forum themes than subsilver would be nice, especially something dark and easy on the eyes.

SPACEPILOT NE1

I always have and will always use Subsilver though. Unless there's a straight inverted recolor of Subsilver, which case yes, that would be easier on the eyes.

It's more a matter of having access to said directories. Which, as far as I know, is only true of DAGRON and Fruitz. Razz

Not that I know enough about PHP to not blow up the forum if I tried to do it, though...

If it were as simple as uploading files, they'd have been reinstalled ages ago. Razz

The biggest thing is, every time we want to add a mod to the forums, we have to manually edit a bunch of PHP files to get it to function properly, and this has to be done separately for each theme. It's not difficult work, but it becomes quite time-consuming and tedious when you have multiple themes.

Nonetheless, I know there's a good deal of interest in SpacePilot at the very least, so I'll make a note to do something about this the next time I get a slow day at work (although this hasn't occurred over the past several weeks).

I could be remembering this incorrectly, but I thought you literally just had to upload the themes to the right directory and enable them in some admin menu on phpBB.

Yeah, mods play havok with themes.

The only thing that makes it easier in phpBB3 is that phpBB itself has more stuff in it so not as many mods need to be applied.
