It was made to be serious (I think) and since Cheese Monkey said "oh el oh el I was kiddin yo!!" it has turned into just total spam. It's a waste of forum space and I refuse to post anymore until someone deletes it. It just makes me mad.

Wow, you're THAT ticked off about it? You should calm down, dude. :/ Most people thought that the idea wasn't a good one, and so it degraded. (I was rather indifferent myself, and still am.) I see no problem with keeping it, and would think it kind of odd to delete it.

But that's my two cents.
(Query: Would the British version of that saying be "my two pence"? Because you guys don't have cents, right?

Fun's fun, but this board isn't for joking around. The issue is, do we leave the obituaries thread? Well, it's more or less a joke thread now, so it's essentially harmless, right?

Honestly, Poopsoda, it's hard for me to figure out where you're coming from on this one. The thread wasn't made by you, and it itself was not made in parody of your thread. So is it alright if we just leave it as-is?

I'm going to leave this open for a bit longer in case Poopsoda decides to reply.

He seems to be offended that a thread that should be serious and respectful has, instead, degraded into "total spam." I don't blame him for feeling this way as that was the reason I was against the ridiculous thing in the first place. No one gives a crap if it gets deleted and if it makes poop happier, all the better.
