Aye, perhaps so. I take "mind" to mean "brain" and / or "self-thought". SO I GUESS EVEN REALLY GOOD ROBOTS ARE NOT IMMUNE TO THE INANIMACY LABEL.

I'm concerned about those signs with the movable letters. It seems like they would be easy to abuse.

If we propose the idea that animals don't have souls, and therfore their animacy is in question, it opens up a really interesting new field for discussion. What if hitler made his monkey army? I mean, what if you take the brain out of a person, and put it into a monkey?

As we all know from playing TimeSplitters, shooting a monkey is a very difficult thing to do. Undoubtedly, had Hitler suceeded in his monkey army... there would be much less monkeys due to them being shot.
