It is sometimes, yeah. We've actually gained a couple folks lately. It still has its large inactive periods though, to be sure.

It would be much better if you went to irc.windfyre.net instead of a particular server--but that's not the problem, no.

You may be connecting to irc.* actually, cause that just makes you connect to a random server. (Sudo, moople, or woodstock in our case) So eh... I'm sorry, I don't know.

I think that, if we can't get this straightened out, we need to seriously consider relocating the channel to a different server. There's really no reason not to... other than the fact that Damian might be a little inconvenienced by it. Damian, are you willing to sacrifice a little convenience to allow a fellow IRC user to join the party?

EDIT: This has nothing to do with Inanimacy Appreciation. Surprised

Well, if you do move it, please send me another private message disclosing the new stuff as well as a guide on how to get on it. I don't want to be switching between two messages and having to translate on thing onto another and risking my failure at accomplishing such a tasque.

The thing is, though, we'll need to make sure everyone knows where the new location is. So during the transition period, people should go to both the old one and the new one, so that people who don't know about the new one can get informed.

I suggest we relocate to irc.foonetic.net . I've never had any server problems or nothin' there. Any objections to this server choice?
