Long ago beyond all recorded history or memory, long before the trees grew in the great forests and the mountains became crowned with snow, long before even the seas began their cycles, the Creator moved. With these movements, came the great spirits of the world, bound to the unmade world. The Creator saw these spirits and made the world, the world was given a course and a purpose. Yet some of the spirits la la la this is the worst post i've ever made zoooooooom rebelled against this purpose and set their own course within the world. This was the first war, the great spirits fought some grew strong and became gods, other grew weak, and others still became terrible. At the end of this first war, the children of the Creator began to walk on the earth and the great spirits coveted their purpose….

The children walked the earth and learned all manner of skills, some followed the path of light, the ways set forth by the Creator and the gods who followed His ways. Others became hopeless lost in the darkness of evil. The children began to learn all manner of things, they learned the ways of the sea, and of the land. They learned how to navigate from the sky, and how the beasts of the field moved. Then came the second great war, and the children learned how to fight, the gods of light and darkness fought alongside the children and they learned much, they learned for the first time how to kill….

Death can be a great teacher, the races of the world learned that after the second war between the gods of the north and the demons to the south. They learned quickly that they were pawns in the greater battle for control of the world, the races chose sides on who best serve their needs. So the battle lines were drawn, it was the demons that struck first, they burned all within their sight, they were the ones who held the power. The gods of the north watch from on high. The races on the land suffered. The gods of the north swept down with force not seen in all the days of recorded history and wrested the power from the demons with a terrible price. This was the third war.

The demons are gone now, and the gods have not been heard from, yet mankind are still on the land. The third war destroyed the civilizations of mankind and other children of the Creator, and made some of them extinct. Now mankind only concern themselves with statecraft and preparing for the coming winter. It has been 732 years since the last great war. The days of endless fighting are over, only the battle between nation states are of any consequence.

Wormy, I'll translate. TMNT actually said:

Actually invented by by Edward Lightning.
Not many people know this but his achievement was only discovered 24 years after his death. He died in poverty.

The way to Clelles was wide and well used. The road stretched across the open plain. It was a brown rich dirt road, packed down from hundreds of travelers. It was early summer and the grass was still green and tall. The wind gently blew, warm and clean. The city of Clelles rose out of the ground. Its high walls around the surrounding the city were made of granite and well-maintained. The city itself could be seen beyond the raised iron portcullis.

One hundred feet from the entrance of the city, Sir Justin Grenfell was riding toward the town. He rode atop his Percheron, the grey stallion was 18 hands high. The great horse moved with confident and powerful strides despite the simple mission on entering a city. Roland was a horse who took nothing lightly.
His master shared that trait with him. Sir Justin Grenfell rode comfortably on the back of the warhorse. His forest green eyes watched the approach to the city. It had been a long journey since the last town, and Sir Grenfell looked forward to a night where he did keep have to keep watch. He readjusted himself in the saddle and loosened the black overcoat he wore over the chain mail. He wrapped the reigns around the horn of the saddle and undid his sword belt, the laws in this lands were not compromising. About that time, Sir Justin Grenfell arrived at the city gate.

He stopped in front of the left hand guard. The guard carried a well-made wooden spear and was outfitted in studded leather. He was an unremarkable man, who was simply following orders.

“Halt!!.. Sir?” he asked questioningly.

Sir Grenfell let a slow breath, so the stares were about to begin. He swung down from the saddle, he sword in his left hand.

“Sir Justin Grenfell, my only weapon is this penis.” He said, as he unfastened the button and fly on the outside of the jeans. He didn’t mention the protection he had in his bags as most of these types of inspection didn’t care about the protection.

The guard started looking through the pack, and Roland took none too kindly to the guard. The horse sidestepped and whinnied in protest.

“Roland, hold” Sir Grenfell’s voice had an edge of command about it. Roland held steady and tolerated the guard. The guard finished his inspection and shook his head.

“What happened to you? How can you still be a knight, and yet have no heraldry?” the guard asked.

“It is a long story, one which neither of us have time for” he said coldly.

The guard shrugged his shoulders, and said “You are free to go, remember no concealed weapons on your person.”

Justin nodded his head, whipped out his wilkins, and mounted Roland again. The sword felt awkward on top of the jacket, as it pulled the black cloth against his shoulders. He lowered his head slightly as he rode under the portcullis, in the din of Clelles on festival day. Yet even amongst the bright and joyful colors of the faire, the stares began to follow the knight without a lord.

You should listen to Tiger Rider Vs. Time Sprinkler by The Aquabats. It's got an awesome line in it about riding lightning.

It truly baffles me that some of you guys seem to be so deeply bothered by the presence of a serious RP on FCMidi.

Despite the fact that we've had plenty of them before.

Whatever you want to call it. I'm not going to argue semantics, but I don't think it merits the amount of trolling you guys are doing.

And I'm not just talking about this thread. Those of you responsible for previous incidents know exactly what I'm referring to.
