Today's update is brought to you by one Hunter Van Brocklin, perhaps better known to the Internet at large as "Damian", "General Damian", "atlamillia44", or "Sir Charleston Montgomery Socrates McSexyfine". Side by side, he and I waged war against the ruthless and seemingly innumerable armies of composer's block, vanquishing legion after legion of its hideous demonic underlings, and have at last emerged victorious with not one... not two... nay, no fewer than SIX freakin' collaborations in hand. Behold!

The first three are theme tunes, each representing someone who has, at one point or another, frequented the forums: Banjie's Backyard, The Black Orb's Floating Fortress, and The Dragon's Deathmatch Arena. The remaining three are standalone works -- two of which bear a somewhat similar style, and one of which quite blatantly doesn't: Piña Colada, Tropic of Shenanigans - SNES Mix, and Menace Rising.

These are all so cool!

Seriously, this is really really great. Both of your styles work incredibly nicely with each other, and it didn't sound like broken up sections; it flowed really nicely together (well, except for that record scratch, but you know what I mean). The Dragon's was the best, by the way. So amazing. Oh my god.*

So, yeah, great, superb job all around. A with 27 pluses in back of it.

*Menace was a close second though.

I really really really like Tropic of Shenanigans, Piña Colada, Dragon's Deathmatch Arena, and Menace Rising. Can't put those in any order, though.

These are awesome; I love the Dragon's theme. Love the way it starts. Very Happy

Piña Colada sounds really good too. I also like the SNES Mix one, but that's probably because I'm always biased toward NES/SNES mixes. Razz

It's so good to finally hear Menace Rising in its entirety. I still have that half-baked demo you sent me three years ago. I had no idea your musical gestation period had gotten that extreme. Very Happy

For some reason Piña Colada keeps reminding me of that Atomic Rooster song, and I don't know why. It's not even that similar.

Actually, a Lynkstar/Dr. Fruitcake collab would be pretty sweet, I bet. Especially since Lynk is really good at making songs sound professional. I wholeheartedly endorse the idea.

I have cool software so I can do mixing and adding bits and cool stuff. I can write music too.
I think that would be AWESOME.

Maybe we pick a recurring theme and each write a section around it and make them fit together somehow?

While I'd like to collab with the Doctor himself, I sadly have virtually NO skill whatsoever with composing. Trust me, my last one was HORRIBLE.

However, my self-remixes arent too bad either.

Guess I'm like Upsilon, cheering from the sidelines.

Oh well. Hopefully someone here may try a theme for me. (not like one's already made in the form of Pokemon.)
