Hey there.
I was looking for a place to "distribute" a vg remix I made recently because on another forum, nobody cared :/ However, luckily, I remembered the place offering cool, fruity music, so... 
I made a weird medley containing music from Super Mario Bros. 3. Most of the transitions aren't really leading to the next part because originally I wanted to create an "in-game feeling". Well, I hope you enjoy nevertheless.

Were I not at work, I'd listen to this immediately. 
Welcome to FCmidi, I guess.  This place isn't nearly as active as it used to be, but those who do still come here will probably offer you some useful comments. I'm not a musician myself so I can't offer too much.

We're usually pretty damn happy to see a new member. I think we all secretly hope they'll stay for more than 10 posts and a few days.
And meh. Tuesday is the only day of class I have that's bad at all. Least I'm not workin' all the time yet.

Welcome to the forums, SailorBusch! I think you will do well here should you decide to stay.
As for the mix/medley/thing, I liked it! The sequencing was pretty spot-on, the transitions (and the ending) threw me for a loop, and the the improvisation-type remix-y stuff worked well with the arrangement. I'd have to say the high point for me was that short little solo during the invincibility part.
Is there anywhere I can download this?

Glad, you liked it. Although I'm surprised since, except for the flute-thingy, there aren't any real transitions.

Hm. What do you mean with "same dif"? Sorry, I'm not that into abbreviations, it seems... The only word I can think of is difference, but I don't get what it expresses in that context. |
