This should be in Site-o-Rama.

Slurm!

The ending was a weird deus ex machina. I didn't like it.

Aside from the terrible ending, it was kind of funny and clever. But not as much as it was trying to be.

I didn't mind the ending. It was very odd, though. Entertaining, but if they were trying to portray logos in a negative way, I would think they would do more than just include tons of logos in an animation. The animation quality was very good. Honestly, I think that's what I liked best about it.

Notice that all the logos that fell/crumbled during the earthquake are failed businesses. Most blatant example: Enron.

BTW, it says on its wiki page that, during the earthquake, the Left 4 Dead logo appears somewhere. I can't find it. Anyone?

Totally agreed. I have a soft spot for cel-shading.

I liked:
- The little AIM people
- the Audi logo on the interstate
- the Camel (cigarette) logo as an actual camel in the zoo
- the Northface logo on the side of the cliff
- a bunch of the ones in space, like the IE logo, Hard Rock, Mastercard, and especially Milky Way rofl

That was pretty cool. I really liked it. Also, it's more interesting to me since I live in Los Angeles... there are a damn lot of logos and advertisements here. It's true! And the fact that I felt an earthquake a week ago here kind of made the disastrous earthquake in the film a little unsettling. Razz

Hmm. See, how I feel about this is determined by its intended message. If it's meant to be a cool little animation telling a story using an original concept, then it's awesome. If it's meant to be making some kind of pretentious statement about brands and corporations and boo hoo capitalism, it can get its head out of its arse and piss off.

And I liked its use of the Ink Spots at the end.

Did anyone notice the South Park sign floating in the oil? I didn't see it until my third time watching it.
