Well, on June 22nd I go of to Fort Lackland for two months of basic training, then it's three months of technical school. I'm really excited about this, but I don't get out of Texas until the last month of technical school... UGH.

You?

Get some GCSEs and do some hardcore busking. Perhaps not simultaneously, mind.

Hahaha... RIIIGHT, Sir Ricky. Artists who work on schedules they create for themselves? That's a funny one!

I will work 40 hours a week, every week, as I've done since March of 2009. Only, at my last job, it was more like "work 36 hours a week, most weeks, because I'm a terrible employer and refuse to give you money." Thank goodness I traded away that awfulness for a job with slightly more pay, but an actual 40 hours a week!

Waiting for corporate to move and let me work as a rental counter guy another 15 - 20 a week, which would all be sweet, sweet overtime, baby! I work at Penske Truck Leasing as a "customer service representative," commonly referred to as a "fueler-washer," as my job responsibilities include fueling our lease customers, washing their trucks, and then cleaning and inspecting our rental trucks that go out to whomever. The next time you hop in your dirty U-Haul, take notes. Then rent with Penske next time and compare. Oh, wait, that's extremely unfair. How can an 8-year-old U-Haul truck compare to a one-year-old Penske truck with fewer than 30,000 miles? It can't, really. Yeah, sukkas, the oldest truck you'd be able to rent at Penske is 4. Four years. Then they are sold and replaced with brand-new ones. I took delivery of three new GMC Savannas just a couple weeks ago. (Signing for new vehicles is the coolest thing I do) Fresh off the car-carrier, a whopping 4 miles on each of them. I even cut myself open on one of their keys, as it was still rough from being cut in the factory! Whee!

Getting married in mid-December, so I've got to raise funds for the wife and stuff. It's hard not to spend it all on my car.

PROTIP: Don't stop going to school or you'll end up like me. I'm going back this fall to get two degrees, something which will probably take me 6 years, even with my 28-credit head-start, as I have to work full-time throughout. =(

Finish when you're still young and frisky.

Eiríksmál is a skaldic poem composed sometime in 954 in honour of slain consort Erik Bloodaxe.

What's being said, what's in your head, what's in the words that we believe?
Bop to the sound, drop what you've got -- 'cause it's a song inside of me.
I can see your face, I can feel the sea, I see that it's a part of me.
Let's break the trance, let's make 'em dance and see what we are meant to be!
Might be the end, might be the start, could be the air that lies between.
Could be this song, could be the beat, could be the words that set you free.
You say believe, I don't believe, I can't believe in what you say.
I'd rather be a part of me, a part that you? You'll never see.
What To Believe - Daiki Kasho, composed for the Gran Turismo 4 Soundtrack (2004)
