In keeping with my personal theme for the week (and with a not-very-subtle nod to this Threadless tee [which I, incidentally, wore yesterday]), here's a new and exciting game to play!*

* Newness guaranteed; excitement, not quite so much.

The rules are simple. It's Rock-Paper-Scissors, but with a "Picture Battle Wars" sort of twist: you can call upon any object you desire, provided that your object beats the previous poster's object in some way. (If the method of trumping isn't obvious, then for FORK's sake, explain it! Smile)

I'll begin with the classic: Rock.
(Note to next poster: if you say "paper", you'd better get to 'splainin', since I never understood how that particular trump was possible. Razz)

I counter with Like-Like!

I employed a few hundred of these into my army a couple months back. Quite efficient for how slow they are, yep yep.

Hm, yes. But as for the fire rod (yes, that's what it was called):

The Mirror shield will block fire balls.

Not if it's covered in BLACK PAINT.

Is this some sort of slight against homeless people; insinuating they're not real people by entering the image of one in a contest of inanimate objects? Because that's rather uncouth. Razz

Anyway:

Well I thought it was so simple that I wouldn't have to.

Anyway:

"Now witness the fire power of this fully armed and operational battle station."

Edit to avoid confusion--
It uses it's beam to blow up the sun.

The Death Star's all right... but it's no moon.

I think the point was that by lighting the fuse, one indirectly destroys the bomb. In fairness, I thought that was pretty obvious, as well as an interesting and fatalistic rumination on the futility of the existence of a bomb.

Thanks to bad science and rhetoric, that lunar colony NEVER EXISTED.
