Here, you list the last inanimate object you acquired. Mine is this;
The Ibanez JEM555. £700. Best thing EVER. |

Would this include stuff we just picked up off a shelf or out of a bag? _________________ http://gadgettr.deviantart.com/ |

Sure, why not. So, for example, if you just meandered over to the bookshelf and fetched Chambers, your post might read "I just fetched Chambers".
While it might or might not actually be the most recent object I received, it's significant enough to merit a mention; I very recently procured a Wii. So, [s:1a0a4dce89]wheee[/s:1a0a4dce89]wiiii! _________________ "" |

So you actually got that then Tom?
I thought you were just considering it. Was it a Christmas present?
Most recent item I received was:

Yeah, I went to test it today and fell in love with it. I'm paying £500 of it and £200 will be from my parents as a Christmas present. |

I think the word "recieved" implies new ownership, if nothing else. Otherwise the mouse you use to post on your computer would count.
Most recently... erm... I'd have to say a couple of frozen pizzas and other random groceries. _________________ This post has been brought to you by

I must point out that the last inanimate object I recieved was a bucket of red paint, which I used to repaint the "ph34r" on my helmet for this year's festivities.

The last thing I received? Well, in a very general way, I've been playing with this pen while I was reading this thread. It's a blue Berol felt tip, and it makes a very satisfying click when you slide its lid back and forth.
Before that, N64 controller. Hell yes. _________________ Delivering very monthly quotes for over six freaking years, it's Upsi's Quote of the Month:

Last thing I had was a Diet Pepsi, even though I 'fancy' coke. _________________ Hi, I'm pacman and I'm covered in poop!

The most recent inanimate object I had the pleasure of receiving was a $20 bill. One of the new ones. Good stuff. _________________ BRAND NEW FCMidi Forums! |

A trophy.
Dead serious, actually, although it's not personally mine. We won a marching band competition quite wonderfully last night, and I got to possess the trophy for a while, as is the general custom. The trophies get passed around a lot. _________________ when the world is sick, can't no one be well? but i dreamt we was all beautiful and strong

I'm recieving a trophy on the 22nd November. It's the Suzie Ward Memorial Cup for Music. At the awards evening for my school year. Which I was otherwise not going to attend.
Trophy +1.  _________________ :3 |
